Honor the Farmers.. Soon their worth will be known

“Just a farmer,” you said,

And I laughed ’cause I knew
All the things that farmers
Must be able to do.
They must study the land,
Then watch the sky
And figure just when
Is the right time and why-
To sow and to plant
To buy and to sell
To go to the market
With cattle and well –
You know the books
That farmers must keep
To pay all those taxes
And be able to sleep.
And you know the fixin’
That farmers must do
When machines like mad monsters
Blow a gasket or two
I guess when God needed
Folks to care for His earth
He chose “just farmers”
‘Cause he knew their true worth.

Salvation is of Jesus alone!

Psalms 27:1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Most Christians would think this verse is kindergarten stuff, right?

Well I have to ask.. Can anyone be saved if this isn't true?

Firstly at the end of this verse there is the directive that the person must Find their strength in only the LORD.

How many do you know that live that section of scripture?

Secondly Do you know anyone who is truly afraid of Jesus? Of displeasing their LORD?

I admit I wish I knew more people who were and are afraid to offend God!

Who are we? Do we want to be people who believe in our God?

Seek to let him be all these things:
Your Rock,
Your Fortress,
Your Deliverer,
Your Source of Strength,
Your High Tower,
And the weirdest one for our western minds
The HORN of our salvation
(If we think about a shofar when is it blown)

As is often the case.. The most simple of verses is easy to read... But difficult to live!

A woman worthy of Praise!

25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

Look at it like this.. Read verse 30..

Now look at all the things above it and see what things does GOD say is praiseworthy?

Well It's not deceitfulness, It's not being a favor seeking people. It's not beauty (consider that.. the complete opposite of our culture's preeminent praiseworthy characteristic)

BUT..
It is
Fearing the Lord!
It is
Doing Virtuously
It is
Diligence as the converse of Idleness
It is
Looking well to the way of her household
It is
Guarding your mouth and not letting foolish and unkind things
It is
Being STRONG in all these things.
It is
Clothing yourself in VIRTUOUOS things
It is
Being Honorable
It is
Also having a good sense of humor
It is
Modesty

Women's mouth's May yours be a fount of blessings

When we look at ourselves
Is our lips filled with Honor?
Is our lips filled with Praise worthy things?
When you open your mouth is it with wisdom?
And is your tongue used with the law of Kindness?

TRUTH
KINDNESS
WISDOM
PRAISE
